Agricultural and Food Business Management Minor

This minor is designed for undergraduate students who want to include courses in business management (such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship) to enhance and/or supplement courses in their major program and prepare for careers in industry or a graduate business program. The Agricultural and Food Business Management minor has a microeconomic, firm and industry-level focus. 

Requirements

A minimum GPA of 2.00 is required for minor program coursework, which must be taken on a letter grade basis with a minimum grade of C-.

To receive a minor, students must complete Principles of Microeconomics, plus 9 credits from elective courses at the 3000 level or higher. No more than 6 credits may be counted for both a major and the Agricultural and Food Business Management minor.

How to Apply

To declare an Agricultural & Food Business Management minor, please fill out the Add/Drop a CFANS Minor form online. You may wish to consult with the Agricultural & Food Business Management Major Coordinator or your academic advisor regarding selection of elective courses, but this is not required.
