The second 2007-08 Twin Cities Agricultural Issues Round Table was held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at the Four Points Sheraton Minneapolis. Tom Stinson was the speaker. His topic was "Minnesota's Economy: Short Term Concerns and Longer Term Challenges." Tom Stinson is an associate professor in the Department of Applied Economics of the University of Minnesota. Since 1987 he has also served as Minnesota's state economist, where his duties including preparing the state's revenue forecast.

The third 2007-08 Twin Cities Agricultural Issues Round Table was held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at the Four Points Sheraton Minneapolis. Steve Polasky was the speaker. His topic was "Biofuels and the Environment." Dr. Polasky is Fesler-Lampert Professor of Ecological/Environmental Economics at the University of Minnesota. He holds a joint appointment in the Department of Applied Economics and the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior

The first 2007-2008 Twin Cities Agricultural Issues Round Table was held on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at the Four Points Sheraton Minneapolis. Larry Lev was the speaker. His topic was "Demystifying Farmers' Markets." Larry Lev is a professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at Oregon State University. He is currently a Senior Fellow in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences here at the University of Minnesota this year under the auspices of the School of Agriculture Endowed Chair in Agricultural Systems.
