Marin Bozic is Assistant Professor in Dairy Foods Marketing Economics, a new faculty position created in collaboration between the University of Minnesota and the Midwest Dairy Association. The position is funded by the dairy checkoff funds and was created to foster research in areas such as:

1. Evaluation of the economic value of new product development.
2. Elicitation of consumer preference and willingness to pay for new dairy food products.
3. Evaluation of demand and price analysis of existing and new dairy food products.
4. Assessment of the market penetration and market potential for new products.
5. Feasibility of processing investments for new product development.

Marin is associated with the Midwest Dairy Foods Research Center, whose mission is to develop and transfer new knowledge in dairy foods research that will increase the value of dairy products in the U.S. and ensure their future competitiveness.
