Objective
I am looking for the opportunity of applying my technical background and practical experience in an institution involved in economic and financial services and working for the development of human groups, in order to use my skills combined with my creative and innovation abilities to increase the presence of the institution in its natural environment, and improve the impact of knowledge on the beneficiary groups; while further developing my professional and social skills.
Expertise and achievements
Applied Economics I am a student of the Agriculture and Applied Economics Ph.D. program of the University of Minnesota. I have completed all coursework, and working on my dissertation.
Project design and management, emphasizing those related to scientific research and technological development, and their practical applications; including the problem definition phase, analysis of alternatives, assessing the technical solution, elaboration of the project, execution control, and results evaluation.
Planning and results measuring I have vast experience on the monitoring and evaluation of the outcomes of projects. Using assessing tools such as stakeholders' meetings, panels, round tables, technology oriented polls, agents' census; I coordinated the elaboration of the II Science and Technology National Plan of Ecuador. Directed the strategic planning process of the Commonwealth Terrace Community, a 468 household complex.
Innovation and competitivenessDuring my last job as Project Coordinator at FUNDACYT, and in charge of the preparation of the II National Program for Science and Technology, I was involved in the design of the Component of Innovation of the Private Sector. I have Graduate studies on project and MBA at Escuela Politecnica Nacional.

Computer modeling, scientific programming, numerical analysis, use of large data sets for data mining, managerial decision making; artificial intelligence. Certificate at University of Minnesota in Information Technologies; Master in Computer and Information Sciences; and teacher on Information Sciences subjects in two universities in Ecuador.
