Hotel Accommodations

Attendees must arrange accommodations directly with the hotel.  A block of rooms is being held at the Radisson University Hotel for the attendees until April 2, 2009.  Be sure to identify yourself as an attendee of the "Midwest International Economic Development Conference."  The Promotional Code is:  MIEDC.

All reservations can be guaranteed for late arrival with a credit card or by an advanced deposit.  Reservation requests received after April 2, 2009 will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.

Room Rates

A group rate of $109.00 plus 13.15% tax is available for the following dates:  April 30 and May 1.
The group rate for Saturday May 2 is $169.00 plus 13.15% tax.

The last day to make reservations to receive this rate is April 2, 2009.  This group rate is per night for either single or double occupancy.  Add $20.00 more for triple occupancy.

Transportation between the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and the Hotel

Super Shuttle:  At the airport, follow the signs that say "Ground Transportation."  Once there, ask for the Super Shuttle.  Give them the name of the hotel you are staying at--Radisson University Hotel-Mpls.  The charge is $17 per person one way.

Taxi costs about $32-38 one way.

Hotel Parking

Parking is available behind the hotel.  The daily parking fee is $9.50 per day per vehicle, which includes "in and out" privileges to registered overnight guests.

Hotel Shuttle Service

The Radisson has complimentary transportation within a five-mile radius of the hotel.

The Radisson is easily accessible from 35W and Interstate 94. It is located on the East Bank Campus of the University of Minnesota, only 1 block from the McNamara Center conference site.
