Endowed Undergraduate Scholarships
Undergraduate scholarships help us attract and retain the best students for our nationally recognized programs in Applied Economics and Agricultural and Food Business Management. Student support was President Bruininks' top fund-raising priority, and the University of Minnesota has established an ambitious campaign to establish endowed scholarships that will fund students year after year.
The department annually provides scholarships from one endowed scholarship fund, and is working to establish a second endowed scholarship.
- The Applied Economics Undergraduate Scholarship Fund was recently established to fund undergraduate students in good academic standing and actively pursuing degrees, or very promising students the College and Department wish to recruit.
- The Willis L. Peterson Undergraduate Study Fund provides scholarships for undergraduate students who have completed fewer than 60 credits by the year of application and have already taken Principles of Microeconomics.
