Elton Mykerezi has been named a member of the state's new Feeding Minnesota Task Force by Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Gene Hugoson. This nine-member group represents varied backgrounds and expertise in food and agriculture, and is charged with developing a plan to take surplus food and resources and disperse it to those in need.
Professor Terry Roe is currently featured on the University of Minnesota homepage. The University of Minnesota News Service feature was written by Gayla Marty who highlights a quote from him -
"I find young professionals have greater opportunities for making contributions throughout their professional careers if they can be encouraged to enjoy and feel creative with the process of knowledge discovery as much as with the discovery itself."
Professor Roe is a 2009 recipient of the Award for Contributions to Postbaccalaureate, Graduate, and Professional Education.
