- September 29, 2007 - A memorial service for Professor Emeritus Earl Fuller will be held on Saturday, September 29th at 1:00 pm at Sunrise Methodist Church located at 7687 Long Lake Road in Moundsview. Dick Hawkins will share a few words at the memorial on behalf of the department.
Earl's family is encouraging memorials to the department in his name. Contributions can be made to the University of Minnesota and indicate in the memo line of the check either "ApEc scholarship fund" or "Waite Library". The contributions can be turned in to Missy in 231 Classroom Office Building. The flower fund will also make a contribution on behalf of department members.
If you are unable to attend Earl's memorial service this coming Saturday, but wish to send condolences to his family, you may send them to:

- September 21, 2007 - Liz Templin is coordinating a drive to collect frequent flier miles to assist the family in traveling to Cameroon for services. - September 18, 2007 - Dear Colleagues, I am sorry to inform you that our colleague, Tim Besingi, Regional Extension Educator in community economics, died this morning (September 18) from injuries sustained in a September 13 automobile accident. Arrangements are currently being planned and we will provide that information when it is available. A trust fund has been established for Tim’s family members, who are located in Ohio, to assist in covering travel costs and other arrangements.
