Other Library Resources
The Applied Economics Department has access to a rich array of library and data resources, including the vast collection of the University of Minnesota Libraries, the resources of the Department's Waite Library, the Economic Department's Economics Research Library, and the full-text collection of AgEcon Search.

The Department maintains a collection of data resources from the World Bank, FAO, U.S. Census Bureau, etc. as well as an in-house data collection.

"The University of Minnesota Libraries is one of the University's and the State's greatest intellectual and capital assets." Housed in five major facilities and eleven branch sites, the University Libraries is comprised of nearly 6 million print volumes, 45,000 serial subscriptions, 5.7 million microforms, 2.6 million government documents, and 400,000 maps, making it the 17th largest research library in North America.

Magrath Library
Magrath Library on the St. Paul Campus, one of the University of Minnesota Libraries, is located in the building next to the offices of the Applied Economics Department. Magrath Library provides information, collections and services to support the Applied Economics Department as well as other campus departments such as Animal Science, Agronomy, Family Social Science, Plant Biology, etc.
