Muneta Yokomatsu is an Associate Professor in Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University.
His research focuses on methodologies of evaluating economic benefit of disaster risk mitigation, institutional framework of decentralized disaster risk management and
risk sharing, and macroeconomic accounting
of infrastructure management.
Currently he is working with Professor Terry Roe and Professor Rodney Smith on the issues of foreign investment, trade and economic growth under macroeconomic risk.
He will be in the department until March 2009.
