• On January 29, the second of the pre-Super Tuesday "Big Pictures" sessions was aired on the PBS Online NewsHour hosted by Jim Lehrer. "The focus of the program was the economy, and what Minnesota voters think about common problems that loom large in the presidential contests."

Tom Stinson, Applied Economics Professor and Minnesota State Economist, was a featured guest on this session. 

Fred de Sam Lazaro profiled the political landscape in Minnesota while Ray Suarez spoke to a panel of voters about how issues like spending, taxes and infrastructure are impacting their election choices.
