Internships, Study Abroad and Career Planning
Agricultural and Food Business Management students are strongly encouraged to complement their degree programs with internships and study abroad experiences.

With some planning, academic credit may be earned for internships. The College allows a student to register for a total of up to six internship credits. Up to three internship credits taken under ApEc 4096 may be counted toward the Professional Application Cluster. A student may find an internship by pursuing personal contacts or leads provided by a faculty advisor. However, most internships are arranged through the St Paul Campus Career Center which maintains a list of internship opportunities and provides a range of related support services – click here to link to the SPCCC Internships and Experience area.

Once you have an internship selected, you may arrange to receive academic credit for a related project. This will involve completing an Internship Agreement and Plan with your employer and a faculty supervisor. Often, the faculty supervisor is your academic advisor, but this may be any Applied Economics faculty member. Download the Internship Agreement and Plan form now.

You may learn about and plan an international study experience by visiting the Learning Abroad Center  in Heller Hall on the West Bank or online at the Learning Abroad Center website.
