economics, biodiesel production economics, agricultural energy use,
grain flow patterns, economics of precision agriculture.
Current research projects include analysis of production economics
of ethanol and biodiesel. Patterns of energy usage by agricultural
enterprises as well as emissions of greenhouse gases and the potential
for carbon sequestration are continuing interests as well as
international climate change treaties.
