Research involved studies relating to agricultural inputs: demand interrelationships and industrial organization.
Teaching involved input marketing and agricultural law.
He was past President of the American Agricultural Law Association. and has received an AAEA award for outstanding policy research.
He has written extensively for law reviews and economic journals and has co-authored an undergraduate text on market and price analysis.
