Centers Several active, lively Centers and other hubs of research and outreach activity flourish within the Department of Applied Economics. They are often interdisciplinary and bring department members into closer touch with academic colleagues, K-12 teachers, the business community, farmers, government agencies, citizen groups, and others both at home and in foreign nations.  Each of the following centers has a gift account from which proceeds are used to enhance programs and activities.
