David Bau, Extension Educator based in Worthington, MN, received a distinguished service award at the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA) conference in Portland Oregon held on September 20-24, 2009.
Working as an Agricultural Business Management Educator, his programming focuses on grain marketing , farm transfer, estate planning and farm management issues. He also works with three marketing groups focusing on corn, wheat and soybeans.
His continues to compile an annual resource guide that gives rental rates, custom rates, farmland sales and other ag data.
Congratulations to Jean Kinsey, one of six distinguished alumni being honored by St. Olaf College for her lifelong achievements and professional contributions. Jean will receive an Alumni Achievement Award for her influential role at the intersection of consumer economics, agriculture and public policy on November 6, 2009 in a special ceremony at St. Olaf College’s Founders’ Day.
